My love

My love is like a rose. Her complexion is as attractive and healthy living as a beautiful rose. Similarly, with the texture of her skin. It is as velvety and smooth as the petals of the rose. The way she stands is a straight and regal as the rose held upright by its straight firm stem. The subtle fragrant of the rose is like the fragrance of my love. The way she attracts people is like the way a rose attracts those who see it.

“Rafflesia Arnoldi”

During our vacation last year I was fascinated with a beautiful flower named “Rafflesia Arnoldi” it is so beautiful and so heavy 15 pounds to be specific. And its petals grow to 1.6 ft (1 metre) long and 1 inch (2,5 cm) thick. There are 16 species of Rafflesia. The Rafflesia Arnoldi is named after the naturalist Sir Stamford Raffles and his friend Dr. Joseph Arnold during their travels in May 1818. Rafflesia Arnoldi is also called as “corpse flower”. It is a parasitic plant, with no visible leaves, roots, or stem. It attaches itself to a host plant to obtain water and nutrients. When Rafflesia Arnoldi is in bloom it emits a repulsive odor, similar to that of rotting meat. The odor attracts insects that pollinate the plant. Even if Rafflesia Arnoldi smells bad I still feel glad and happy because I have seen the biggest and one of the most rare flower in the world.
